A netizen wrote an open letter which is intended to all the students of State Universities such as those in University of the Philippines who are actively participating in rallies against the government.
Glenn Moico Aytona, a former corporate trainer and now Development manager in abroad expressed his message to the student activists through his lengthy Facebook post.
Based on the article published in Pinoy Trending, the said netizen called out the attention of State U students and iterated that everything is a different matter when they will be in the corporate life.
“When you start working in a firm/company ang grievance ay may proper channel at kapag nilabas nyo ang grievance nyo in Social Media lalo na at nag-name drop kayo – You will be dealt accordingly”
Aytona iterated that those students from State U who are active in activism should think that their education is being funded by the government and for him what they are doing is not a practice of freedom of speech anymore.
“You are lucky hindi pa kayo pinapaexpel ng gobyerno but hopefully we won’t get to that point.”
The netizen called the activists on his open letter as spoiled brats and he cited some points that they should do instead in order to help build the nation.
“Mas kailangan kayo ng gobyerno to be the next in line to build the nation kaya nga you were chosen sa mga admission exams because you all have the potentials.”
The netizen pointed out the optimistic approach to the issues and problems that the country is dealing right now.
President Rodrigo Duterte stated previously that he will kick out those students who are activists against the government and will exchange their spots to the Lumads of Mindanao.
Behind this, the University of the Philippines-Diliman Chancellor Michael Tan strongly believed that being involved in rallies is a “part of their education”, based on the article.
