On Sunday, the group had already released 10 Indonesian hostages after a month-long condition.

However last week, the Aby Sayyaf claimed responsibility over the execution of the John Ridsdel, 68. Ridsdel was purportedly kidnapped along with the three others while having a vacation from a resort last year.

Marites Flor, a Filipina, also pleaded for help and freedom.

The masked fighter warned that if the government of both countries will procrastinate again, they will be left with no choice but behead the remaining hostages.

“The lesson is clear. John Ridsdel has been beheaded. Now there are three remaining captives here. If you procrastinate once again, the negotiation, we will behead this all anytime,” he said.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau earlier called Ridsdel’s beheading as an “act of cold-blooded murder” and has urged the countries not to pay for ransoms.

Moreover, President Benigno Aquino III firmed to eliminate the group before he steps down in two months.

The Foreign ministers of the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia are set for a meeting in Jakarta this week to toggle plans on how to secure shipping routes in the waters between the countries.
