Kris Aquino asks her supporters to defend her from presidential chopper controversy.

The Queen of All Media Kris Aquino appealed to her supporters to defend her from issue about the use of presidential chopper. This was after she was criticized for allegedly using the presidential aircraft to attend the sorties of Liberal Party bets Mar Roxas and Leni Robredo.

Photos showing Kris Aquino and his brother president Noynoy Aquino arriving in Dalaguete, Cebu via presidential choppers have gone viral on social media sites. It drew negative reactions from online community for allegedly using government resources to campaign for administration candidates.

“Binubugbog po ako sa social media, sinasabi mapang-abuso daw ang pamilyang Aquino, makapal daw ang mukha namin dahil ginagamit ko daw ang presidential chopper para mangampanya. Pwede ba ipagtannggol niyo ‘ko?” she said during a campaign rally in Hagonoy, Bulacan.

Meanwhile, the Chief Executive has also defended her sister from the critics, saying that she is among the country’s highest tax payers. He also stressed that it is just right to share the chopper with younger Aquino.

In a text message sent to ABS-CBN News, Secretary of Presidential Communications Operations Office Sonny Coloma said that the members of first family are allowed to join President Aquino in government vehicles.

“Members of the President’s immediate family are allowed to ride with him in official government vehicles,” he said.

Kris Aquino earlier announced that she will be taking a break from the show business. She is currently campaigning for presidential bet former DILG secretary Mar Roxas and his running mate Camarines Sur representative Leni Robredo.
