Palace Says PNoy Not Afraid To Be Jailed

PNoy Aquino is not afraid to be jailed after his term ends.

Malacañang Palace said that President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III or PNoy is not afraid to be jailed. They also denied the rumors that the incumbent president is active on campaigning for Liberal Party bets because he doesn’t want to be imprisoned after he step down.

Secretary of the Presidential Communications Operations Office Herminio Coloma Jr. said that the Chief Executive is pushing for Adminisration bets because he wants his projects continued, but not because he might end up to jail after his term.

“President Aquino is pushing for the election of leaders who could continue good governance and the straight path policy of the administration,” Philstar quoted him.

He denied that President Aquino is afraid to be put to jail when administration bets lose “because he has been serving honestly and with integrity.”

PNoy is actively joining the sorties of former DILG secratary Manuel “Mar” Roxas and his running mate Camarines Sur representative Leni Robredo. On Tuesday, he joined them in a campaign rally at the Town of Argao, Cebu.

President previously acknowledge that he might be charged and put to jail because of his anti-corruption drive. He revealed that his critics have threatened him to file cases against him after his term ends in June.

Meanwhile, President’s younger sister Kris Aquino is now making rounds on the social media sites for allegedly using the presidential chopper to campaign for LP bets in Cebu on Tuesday. Photos of the actress using the chopper went viral online.
