This is the “unpleasant experience” of Isko Moreno with Erap Estrada
Actor-politician Isko Moreno revealed the “unpleasant experience” he had with Manila City Mayor Erap Estrada.
Joseph Ejercito Estrada popularly known as Erap was is a former actor who became one of the presidents of the Philippines.
He is now the incumbent mayor of the capital city of the country where Isko is aiming the same position this Election 2019.
The former That’s Entertainment artist has served as Manila Vice Mayor for several terms.
When he decided to run for Mayor, he said that Erap asked him to give way. Isko followed the request of the veteran politician. This is what he did also after the first term of Erap. He let the former president run again even though he has been planning to run as Mayor of Manila.
“E, he said, he still wanted to serve pa raw, marami pa raw siyang gagawin. Well, of course, una, malulungkot ka. Initially, medyo may kurot yun. So, sige, okay, marami pa naman akong birthday,” Isko Moreno shared, based on PEP’s report.
The younger politician also said that Manila has been out of control.
Aside from this revelation about his “pagbibigay daan” to Erap, Isko also revealed the “unpleasant experience” he had with the veteran politician.
When asked if Erap requested him again this 2019 midterm election to give way once again, he answered indirectly.
“O, sige, I’ll answer this na, what will you do kung kaibigan mo, kasamahan mo, natalo, ikaw, nanalo? Ano ang gagawin mo?
“Yung normal lang, ha… huwag na yung pribilehiyo o trabaho, what will you do?”
“Yes, or the very least, console. As a person, huwag na yung ano… kasi nga sabi ko, kaibigan mo, as a person.
“So, eto na, naupo na siya, ni ha ni ho. So, ‘yan ang sagot ko sa tanong mo. And as we speak today [wala pa rin].”
Based on the report, Isko was talking about the time when he ran for senator in 2016 election. He did not win.
He added,“Ako ay isang damit na pagkatapos magamit, itinapon na sa labahan.”
However, Isko Moreno stressed out that he has already moved on from what happened. He also said that he knows how to be happy because of his mindset.
“Talaga lang na hindi sumasaya ang tao kapag wala siyang kabusugan,” the actor-politician said.
