Partial Makati Election Result of Mayoral Race Between Abby, Junjun Binay

MAKATI ELECTION RESULT – Here is the partial and unofficial result of the Election 2019 mayoral race in Makati City where two(2) Binays are vying for the seat.

Undeniably, one of the most prominent political rivalries in the Philippines now is the mayoral race between the children of former Vice President Jejomar Binay. For the Election 2019, his daughter, Abby Binay, and his only son, Junjun Binay, are both candidates for mayor.

Abby is the current mayor of Makati City. She has represented the 2nd District for three(3) consecutive terms before she assumed the seat for mayor.

Junjun is a former Makati City mayor and was dismissed from his post in 2015. He was faced to accusations of irregularities in the contracts of projects done the city. After his dismissal, his sister Abby run against then acting mayor Kid Peña.

Recently, an update regarding the mayoral race between the two Binays was posted.

Based on a recent report in ABS-CBN News, in the latest and unofficial Makati election result for mayoral race, incumbent mayor Abby Binay goes ahead of her brother former city mayor Junjun Binay.

As of 1:19 in the morning today, 99.2% of the Election Returns (ERs) were processed already. Abby got 178,154 votes while Junjun got 97,827 votes.

Aside from Junjun Binay and Abby Binay, their other sister, Senator Nancy Binay, is also running for a seat this Election 2019. She is vying for a seat in the Senate and the latest partial election results includes her in the Top 12.

Based on the report, Nancy took the side of Junjun in the mayoral race in Makati City along with their mother, Elenita, and their other sister, Anne. Former vice president Jejomar Binay took the side of his daughter Abby who was seeking for re-election in the city.
