Jejomar Binay dares Rody Duterte to release his medical record.
Vice president and UNA standard-bearer Jejomar Binay dared the controversial mayor of Davao City Rodrigo “Rody” Duterte to release his medical record. He also claimed that Duterte is sick which made him doubt if we would be able to finish his 6-year term if elected as president.
Former Makati City Mayor told reporters and GMA News that the PDP-Laban bet looks manly and strong, but he doesn’t want to admit that he is sick. However, he refused to reveal Duterte’s illness.
“Kung magsalita, machong-macho. itinatago niya lang na may sakit siya,” he was quoted saying.
Binay earlier released a medical certificate, indicating that he was fit to be a president. It was signed by a doctor from Makati Medical Center.
Reacting on the statement, Duterte said that he will show his medical record in one condition. He said he and Binay should exchange physicians.
Before the campaign period, Duterte, who denided being sick, has already expressed his anger regarding on health issues. He also accused his rival Mar Roxas and his camp for spreading wrong information.
Mayor Duterte also said that he was hurt by the issue circulation because it was actually her former wife Elizabeth Abellana Zimmerman who is suffering from a severe illness.
Meanwhile, Duterte is the latest presidential frontrunner after overtaking Senator Grace Poe in recent surveys. In the survey conducted by Social Weather Stations (SWS), Duterte ranked 1 with 27 percent among other candidates. The Pulse Asia survey also showed him topping the presidential race with 30 percent.
