Coco Martin joins Grace Poe’s Sortie
For the first time, “Ang Probinsyano” lead star Coco Martin joined presidential candidate Grace Poe on her campaign in Bacolod City on Thursday, April 21, 2016.
Grace Poe will head to Palawan after her rally in Bacolod. She will accompanied by running mate, Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero along with senatorial candidates of Partido Galing at Puso and of course with the Kapamilya actor.
The 34-year-old award-winning actor is a co-star of Susan Roces, the mother of the presidential bet, in the primetime series, “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano”. The top-rating series is the remake of the film, “Ang Probinsyano” which starred with Fernando Poe Jr., the senator’s late father.
“Coco Martin is doing it without any compensation because he believes in what Senator Poe is fighting for — ending poverty and unemployment,” Valenzuela Mayor Rex Gatchalian and Grace Poe’s spokesperson said in a text message via Inquirer.net.
“Anybody, who wants to contribute to nation building, and anybody who believes in the advocacies of Senator Poe is welcome to join the campaign,” the spokesperson said.
“We need a president who listens to the people and has a heart for the poor. I’m voting for Grace Poe,” Coco Martin on the other hand said.
