Duterte: Philippines’ Donald Trump?
Presidential race front-runner Rodrigo Duterte has been tagged by Japanese Media as the Philippines’ Donald Trump.
Several photos of the PDP-Laban standard-bearer being featured on Japan-based newsprint and news program is circulating online.
The photos retrieved by viral4real were first shared by Facebook user Ken Musashi on the fan page of the Davao City Mayor.
According to him, he’s been compared to United States’ Republican presidential front-runner, Donald Trump because of his “tapang ng pagkatao at pananalita”.
Davao City, the bailiwick of Mayor Duterte is being tagged as “Philippines’ Little Japan” in the said post.

A separate photo of Duterte which was uploaded on the social networking site earlier claimed that if he wins the presidential seat in the upcoming election slated on May 9, 2016, big companies will venture into our country such as Mitsubishi, Hitachi, Tadano and etc.
Meanwhile, Duterte maintained a wide lead in the latest ABS-CBN survey administered by Pulse Asia despite controversy over allegedly undeclared bank accounts.
Duterte scored 33 percent in the pre-election poll followed by Liberal Party standard-bearer Mar Roxas with 22 percent.
Sen. Grace Poe landed on the third spot with 21 percent followed by Vice President Jejomar Binay and Sen. Mirriam Defensor-Santiago with 17 percent and 2 percent respectively.
