“The Vice President is humbled by the opportunity extended by INC Executive Minister Ka Eduardo Manalo to discuss his programs to lift the poor from poverty and build a compassionate, caring and competent government,” United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) campaign coordinator Joey Salgado said in a report published by Rappler.

The UNA campaign coordinator confirmed that the vice president and INC Executive Minister Ka Eduardo Manalo met on Thursday, April 21, 2016.

“It was an opportunity for the VP to share his vision for the country with Ka Eduardo,” he added.

Just recently, Liberal Party standard-bearer Mar Roxas along with his wife, Korina Sanchez met the Executive Minister for a similar “courtesy call”.

Aside from the administration presidential bet, Senator Grace Poe who’s also running for the highest post in the country also met with the INC executive.

Other presidentiables; Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte and Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago have yet to announced wooing the influential bloc-voting religious group.

The upcoming 2016 National elections which set on May 9 landed as one of the hottest topics in social media and newsprint.

Binay and Duterte are among the hot pick contenders for the presidential poll. In their previous interviews, Duterte lambasted Binay over his alleged “corrupt practices” calling the latter “a thief”.

Binay on the other hand responded and called the presidential front-runner an “abnormal with psychological disorder”.

Duterte is currently making rounds online over his controversial remark about an incident that happened in 1989 where an Australian missionary was involved.

His remark did not only caught the attention of Netizens but also several international news sites.
