It was a bad news for the Liberal Party after the Social Weather System (SWS)-Bilang Pilipino mobile survey revealed that their presidential bet Mar Roxas is “least liked” to win the elections. Respondents said that he is the candidate that they do not want to win.
As reported by Inquirer, the March 30 survey show that 27 percent of respondents voted for Mar Roxas as the “least liked” presidential candidate, followed by Vice President Jejomar Binay with 24 percent. On the third spot is Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte with 17 percent.
Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago is the fourth least-liked president with 10 percent, while 5 percent of respondents said that they do not like senator Grace Poe to be the next president of the country. This shows that Poe remains to be the front-runner of presidential race.
The remaining 17 percent said that they still don’t know who among the candidates they will vote for the May 9 elections.
According to GMA News, the survey was participated by 1,200 random validated voters, 300 each from Metro Manila, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. The respondents had a face-to-face interviews earlier in March and were invited for the survey. However, only 733 people joined the survey.
Meanwhile, the neophyte Grace Poe has once again led the recent SWS presidential poll which was commissioned by ABS-CBN with 34 percent of votes. Following her is Rodrigo Duterte who received 31 percent.
The result of March 15-20 survey was released on April 1, days after the Supreme Court reversed the decision to disqualify Grace Poe from running because of her citizenship issues.
