Mar Roxas & Leni Robredo on government-owned billboard?

Presidential bet Mar Roxas and Vice Presidential candidate Leni Robredo of Liberal Party are currently making rounds online after they were criticized by some Netizens over their campaign advertisement flashed on a government-owned Electronic Traffic Advisory Billboard.

According to Facebook user Ron Nabing, the campaign ad is placed in Cubao near the general headquarters of the administration party.
The political ad shows the following statement;

“Vote: Mar Roxas for President!”
“Vote: Leni Robredo for Vice President!”
“Yes to Mar-Leni, #BayangMatuwid”

The campaign advertisement generated numerous reaction from the Netizens online.

But some netizens claimed that the billboard is not owned by the government, rather of Aranetas.

@Emelaine Canalita The electronic billboard is not owned by the government , it is privately owned by the araneta. And usually may private advertisers din sa billboard especially kapag may malaking events sa coliseum.
