Sharon Cuneta Explains Absence On Pangilinan’s Proclamation

Sharon Cuneta shares reason why she did not attend Kiko Pangilinan’s proclamation.

Kapamilya actress-singer Sharon Cuneta explained why she is absent during the proclamation of her husband senator-elect Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan on Thursday.

In an interview with Push, the Megastar said that she was not able to attend the proclamation due to her work. She also said hat it was last-minute when they schedule the event.

Cuneta, who will join “The Voice Kids Season 3” as a judge, said that she has to finish the taping on that day since they were already delayed due to technical problems.

“There were technical problems. We were here na in the dressing rooms matagal na and there were problems. Ang daming hindi na tape na we should have started that day but we had to go home,” she said.

The 50-year-old actress also added that it was Pangilinan who encouraged her to finish her work.

Cuneta also expressed how happy she is that his husband made it to the 12 winning senators despite not getting the endorsement of religious sects.

“I’m very proud of him. He finished at 8th and we didn’t get the bloc vote from a very big church and my husband still made it to number 8 so that makes me so proud,” she continued.

Kiko Pangilinan made it to the sentoriable list with more than 15 million votes. He run under the Liberal Party and was first elected as a senator from 2001 to 2003.

Meanwhile, Sharon Cuneta will be seen on “The Voice Kids” staring May 28.
