Whistleblowers Say Votes Allegedly Added To Mar And Leni
Three whistleblowers recently admitted that they allegedly manipulated the election results in Quezon province by allegedly adding hundreds of thousands of votes to Vice President Leni Robredo and Liberal Party standard-bearer Mar Roxas.
But, according to a report on GMA News, the figures that one of the whistleblowers has presented on Monday didn’t match the figures in their interview on Sunday.
Furthermore, other figures that the man said that according to him were added to the Liberal Party tandem were also over the real votes Roxas and Robredo received in Quezon province.
According to the whistleblower, alias Bert, said on Monday, that the alleged “dagdag-lipat” operation created 400,000 votes to be added to Roxas, while there are 300,000 votes allegedly added to Robredo.
But in Sunday’s interview with the same witness, he said that there are 500,000 votes added to Roxas. And he added that there are alleged 500,000 votes taken from Senator Bongbong Marcos’ votes then added it Robredo.
But in the total votes reported, Roxas only got 205,791 while Robredo got 385,164 in Quezon province.
Robredo won the elections against Marcos with only a little margin of more than 260,000.
Just this Monday, Duterte and Robredo were proclaimed by the Congress as the official winners of the May 9 elections being the new President and the Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines.
