Jejomar Binay says you will regret voting for Rody Duterte.
With just one month before the elections, the controversial Vice President and presidential bet Jejomar Binay hits rival PDP-Laban standard-bearer Rodrigo “Rody” Duterte. He told the voters that they will regret voting for the Davao City Mayor.
In an interview with Inquirer, the former Makati City Mayor said that people like Duterte now, but they will soon regret it if their family members or loved ones will experience Duterte justice.
“You like this person because of what he’s doing. But when the time comes that it’s your loved ones who get k*ll*d based on mere suspicion, that’s the time you will regret your choice. I hope we won’t get to that point where we will have regrets,” he said.
Binay also dismissed Duterte’s campaign promises to eradicate crimes in just 3 to 6 months if he will be elected as the next president, saying that it is “suntok sa buwan,” an idiom means almost impossible to reach.
Asked if he is hitting because the recent surveys show Duterte beating him, he said that the pre-election polls are not accurate.
The latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) polls showed senator Grace Poe with 39 percent statistically with Duterte with 31 percent. Binay and LP Standard-bearer Mar Roxas tied with 17 percent, while Miriam Defensor-Santiago got only 1 percent.
Of all the presidential candidates, BInay had only kind words on Miriam Defensor-Santiago who is recovering from a serious health issue. Binay slammed Grace Poe regarding her true citizenship and he also hit Mar Roxas about the recently published comics showing him as the hero aftermath of super typhoon Yolanda.
