Residents of Cavite and Laguna are advised to prepare for scheduled power service interruptions from May 22 to 24 due to essential maintenance activities, according to an advisory from the Manila Electric Company (Meralco).
May 22: General Trias City, Cavite
On May 22, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Meralco will install new facilities along Rio De Oro Avenue in Barangay Buenavista I, General Trias City, Cavite. The following areas will be affected:
- Rio De Oro Avenue from Gov. Ferrer Drive, including Rio De Oro Subdivision, Centro De Oro Subdivision, Paseo Heneral Dos Subdivision in Barangays Buenavista I and Pasong Kawayan 2.
May 22: Alaminos, Laguna
In Alaminos, Laguna, line reconstruction and replacement works will occur along Francisco Fule Street. The affected areas, from 12 noon to 1 p.m., include:
- Francisco Fule Street from near Palma Barangay Road to San Roque Barangay Road, including Lynville Homes Subdivision, and Sitio Palma I & II in Barangays Palma, San Agustin, San Gregorio, San Miguel, San Roque, and Sta. Rosa.
May 22-23: Imus City, Cavite
Further line reconstruction works are scheduled along Malagasang Road in Imus City, Cavite. The power interruption will start at 11 p.m. on May 22 and last until 4 p.m. on May 23. Affected areas include:
- Malagasang Road from near Abbey de Saint Augustine School to near Alfamart – Malagasang II-B, including Dexterville Homes Subdivision, Savanna Ville Subdivision, Mallari Subdivision, Manela Subdivision, Reyes Subdivision, and Silver Towne III Subdivision in Barangays Malagasang I-C, I-D, I-E, I-F, II-A, and II-B.
May 23-24: San Pablo City, Laguna
Line reconstruction works will occur along Miguel Leonor Street in San Pablo City, Laguna. The power outage will begin at 11 p.m. on May 23 and continue until 4 a.m. on May 24. Areas affected include:
- Miguel Leonor Street from near C. Peñalosa Street to Atisan and Santiago Barangay Roads, including Sitio Bong-Bong, Sitio Tarangka, Bellavita San Pablo Subdivision, Teomora Ville Subdivision Phases I – IV, Villa Antonio Asores Subdivision Phase 1, Coco Villa Subdivision, Guadalupe Subdivision Phases I & II, SPC Housing Project Subdivision, and Villa San Antonio II Subdivision in Barangays II-A, II-B, II-C, II-E, II-F, Bautista, San Bartolome, San Gabriel, San Miguel, and Santiago I & II.
May 24: Tagaytay City, Cavite and Cabuyao City, Laguna
Finally, on May 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Meralco will relocate primary facilities along the Tagaytay-Cabuyao Road. The affected areas include:
- Tagaytay-Cabuyao Road from Barangay Dapdap East in Tagaytay City, Cavite, to Barangay Casile in Cabuyao City, Laguna, including Kasile Hills Natures & Resorts and Woodside Farm & Water Park in Barangay Casile, Cabuyao City, Laguna.
