Pres. Rody Duterte Names Cabinet Members for DOT, DTI & DOH

The newly-elected President of the Republic of the Philippines, Pres. Rody Duterte revealed the newest member of his Cabinet. The outgoing Davao City Mayor named the secretaries of Department of Tourism (DOT), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and Department of Health (DOH). The newly named Cabinet Members of President Rody Duterte was revealed to the public by his media team.

Incoming presidential deputy spokesperson Ernesto Corpuz Abella made the announcement of Mayor Rody Duterte to the media during a press briefing at the Presidential Guest House in Davao City on Monday evening.

According to the announcement of the Duterte camp, Dr. Pauly Jean Rossell-Ubial will served as Secretary of the Department of Health (DOH). In the Department of Tourism, Pres. Rody Duterte named Wanda Corazon Tulfo Teo as DOT Secretary, while Ramon Lopez, the executive director of Go Negosyo was chosen as Secretary of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

The incoming Health Secretary Dr. Pauly Jean Rossell-Ubial is an incumbent assistant secretary of the Department of Health (DOH), she is the head of the Office for Health Regulations. The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) portfolio will be given to a veteran public servant Ramon Lopez, who worked as executie director of Go Negosyo, the advocacy arm of the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship.

In the Department of Tourism (DOT), Pres. Rody Duterte chose the veteran businesswoman Wanda Corazon Tulfo Teo, the owner of Mt. Apo Travel and Tours and also served as President of the National Association of Independent Travel Agencies (NAITAS).

Pres. Duterte already named some of the most prominent personalities in the country who will served as members of his first executive family when he assumed office as President of the Philippines.
