Radford Road Police shared a photo showing the goods standing on the back seat of the taxi that was surrounded by pieces of glasses. The goose wanted to enter the car by smashing its rear window and that made the taxi driver lay out.
Officers in Nottingham were called out to the strange incident that happened in the Dunkirk area of the city.
Nayyar Tabasam, driver of the said taxi vehicle, said he had just dropped off his passenger when he suddenly heard “this big crashing sound” in his car. He then looked around to find the goose at the back of his unit.
“When a colleague asked if a call had been received about a goose flying into a taxi over the radio, we had to see it to believe it. Goose was taken to the vets & unfortunately the taxi had to repair the damage. We think he may be trying to find his way to #goosefair #randomjob” Radford Road Police posted in their Twitter account.
“I thought somebody had thrown something at the car for a start so I slowed down to see if I could see anyone around but there was no-one,” Tabasam added.
“It was a shock at the time, I didn’t see anything as the goose was coming from the side and it made a lot of noise,” Tabasam concluded.
