Radio Commentator in Cebu City Arrested for Possession of Illegal Drugs and Gun
Police authorities arrested a radio commentator in Cebu City after being caught with illegal drugs and illegal possession of a gun.
Minglanilla Police conducted a search warrant on a radio broadcaster, leading to his detention. During the arrest, authorities discovered an illegal gun and suspected shabu.
According to the report. Eric Pagar, 58, of Purok Mahogany, Barangay Poblacion Ward 2, Minglanilla, Cebu, was identified as the suspect. The defendant has been apprehended thanks to a search order issued by Executive Judge Dennis Larrobis of the Regional Trial Court Branch 76 in Naga City, Cebu.
Pagar was arrested with three unlicensed firearms, including a.45 caliber, air gun, 9mm ammo, and 7.5 grams of suspected shabu worth P51,000.00. According to Minglanilla Police Chief Major Arieza Otida, they got a complaint from Pagar’s neighbor alleging that he harassed them when he was supposedly inebriated and high on illegal narcotics.
As a result, the police secured a search warrant and served it at Pagar’s home, leading to his detention. The suspect is presently being held at the police station and will be charged with the appropriate case. Pagar is a known block timer in DyLA and DyCM in the aforementioned town.
