Rappler has its own way of greeting President Rodrigo Duterte on his birthday
The social news website Rappler and the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte may not have a smooth-sailing relationship with each other, but it did not hinder the former to greet the latter on his birthday.
It can be recalled that the Securities and Exchange Commission under the Duterte’s administration revoked the license of the social news site administered by veteran journalist Maria Ressa.
Behind the unseen or refused to been tension between the two entities, Rappler extended a birthday greeting for Duterte through a Twitter post.
