Relationship Between China And Philippines Reached Critical Stage

Relationship between China and Philippines now reached the critical stage said by a Chinese diplomat in front of Philippine delegate in China.

The tension between the two countries was in the critical stage according to Liu Zhenmin, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister. Beijing was expecting to the Philippines to pay back the initiative to settle the tension in the South China Sea.

Tensions rise when China start to claim the disputed waters as the South China Sea where the Philippines called it the West Philippine Sea. On Jul 12, 2016, the higher court declared that the disputed waters as a common fishing ground.

On Tuesday (September 13, 2016), Chinese Foreign Ministry said that the ties between the two countries sunk to a low edge for a reason where everyone knows. Liu also said that presently the relationship between China and Philippines are at a new turning point.
