Release of former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo gained a lot of commentaries and netizens were in doubt on what emojies would really tell their emotions towards it.
After six years of detainment, former President Arroyo’s case of plunder with regards to the funds of the Philippine Charity and Sweepstakes Office was dismissed by the Supreme Court.
The decision was prevailing justice according to former Pres. Arroyo’s lawyer, Atty. Ferdinand Topacio.
But on the other side, in a report in Manila Bulletin, the netizens have given different views on the dismissal of the former President’s plunder case.
One netizen, Rodelo Mendoza, in an angry emojie, spoke on the differences of the status saying that justice are only for those who are wealthy.
Host Bianca Gonzales tweeted that she is in doubt on which emojie would really speak her reaction on the said dismissal.
Alon Velasquez tweeted a question on the releasing the former president.
Twitter user Patricio see the incident as a promise and expects that another promise would soon be fulfilled.
For Ping Gutierrez, the user sees it as releasing people who stole from the country. The user even praised the Philippines for such act. He ended it with a sad emojie.
John Lloyd Jambaro expressed his hope of the fairness of all with regards to the law of the land as he sees wealth as not a valid reason to set someone free of what he/she has done.
Gelkachuuuuu, with no any emoji, express her expectations that soon a plunderer would have the grounds of the most honorable cemetery.
