Robby Tarroza Urges Jinggoy Estrada to Resign or Expose “Double Life”

Former matinee idol and commercial model Robby Tarroza has publicly urged Senator Jinggoy Estrada to step down from his post, threatening to reveal what he described as the senator’s “double life” if he refuses.

Jinggoy Robby

In a fiery Facebook post on Thursday, September 12, Tarroza accused Estrada of being partly responsible for the collapse of his long-term relationship with businessman and former That’s Entertainment talent Joed Serrano.

“Jinggoy mag resign ka na!!! kundi I will be forced to tell the country about your double life!!! You are one of the reasons bat kami naghiwalay. I have ALL the receipts dear. Try me! Pareho lang kayo ng ex ko… BABOY!!” Tarroza wrote.

The former actor also claimed in the comments section that Estrada allegedly had an affair with Serrano during the 2004 presidential campaign of Fernando Poe Jr., a political ally of Estrada’s father, former president Joseph Estrada. “I have receipts po! Pati si Joed mag-testigo paano sila nagkakant*tan habang nangompaña dati for FPJ,” Tarroza alleged.

Estrada, who is already battling controversy over alleged corruption in government infrastructure projects, now faces this fresh round of personal and political attacks. The senator was previously implicated in testimony before the House infrastructure committee, where dismissed assistant district engineer Brice Hernandez claimed Estrada received a 30% “SOP” or cut from ₱355 million worth of flood control projects in Bulacan. Hernandez said the transactions were carried out under the instruction of then-DPWH district engineer Henry Alcantara.

Estrada has strongly denied the corruption allegations, dismissing them as fabrications. He even challenged Hernandez to undergo a public lie detector test to prove the truth of his claims.

Tarroza’s explosive statements add another layer of controversy to the senator’s already embattled position. While Estrada has yet to respond to Tarroza’s latest allegations, political observers note that the mix of corruption accusations and personal revelations could further erode public trust in his leadership.

The unfolding scandal highlights how both political and personal issues can converge to place public figures under intense scrutiny. For now, Estrada remains firm in denying all charges against him, but the pressure from both official inquiries and personal attacks continues to mount.
