Robin Padilla Believes Kris Aquino is one of the Reason He Becomes Top Senator
Senator Robin Padilla believed that Kris Aquino is one of the reasons why he become the number 1 in the senatorial race.
Robin expressed his thanks to Kris on Facebook for reportedly assisting him in obtaining the Aquinos’ vote. Robin, a first-time senator, received almost 26 million votes in the last election.
He recently posted on Facebook, thanking Kris Aquino, the Queen of All Media, for her assistance in the previous election. Despite being a member of the UniTeam (incoming President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and incoming Vice President Sara Duterte), the actress-host, according to him, did not hesitate to assist him.
“Maraming nagtatanong at nagtataka kung bakit napakataas ng boto ko at kung paano ako nag number one. Walang nakakaalam na May boto rin ako galing sa kampo ng mga Aquino. Kalagitnaan ng campaign period, nag aalala si Kris sa survey ko. Kinausap niya ako kung ano ang campaign strategy ko, sabi ko ‘conventional lang ako dahil wala naman ako pera’,” he shared.
“Ang alas ko lang talaga ay si PRRD, SBG at si Inday Sara Duterte, endorsement lang ng tatlong ito umiikot ang aking pag asa na manalo at syempre ang tulong ng taong bayan,” he added.
Kris, he claims, stated that she would assist Robin. The actor-turned-politician, on the other hand, is hesitant since it might add to her anxiety. Robin said that she approached powerful governors, local government officials, and senior citizens with respect and admiration for the Aquinos.
He also claimed that his membership in the Uniteam has never been an issue for her. Those that speak with her are perplexed as to why he was with them, but she simply responds, “basta pls help robin for me.”
She also spoke about her friendship with Kris, which she had maintained throughout her suffering. Robin pledged to pay Kris a visit in the United States after he obtained a VISA. Kris is currently receiving treatment in America for her odd ailment.
