Vitaly has been transferred from the Bureau of Immigration (BI) detention center in Taguig to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) facility in Muntinlupa. This move follows a string of complaints filed against him, including three counts of unjust vexation, two counts of theft, and one count of attempted theft. Authorities allege that the charges stem from separate incidents in which the YouTuber harassed private security personnel, stole personal belongings, and caused public disorder—all while livestreaming the encounters for his online audience.

Despite being officially labeled an “undesirable foreign national,” Vitaly’s deportation proceedings have been suspended pending the outcome of his ongoing legal cases. The Department of Justice has reiterated that legal processes must be completed before any removal from the country can proceed.

Recent photos taken inside the detention facility show a visibly dejected Vitaly, a stark contrast to his formerly brash and defiant public persona. His subdued appearance, marked by a downcast expression and overall subdued demeanor, has led observers to believe that the pressure of his legal predicament is taking a significant emotional toll.

Philippine officials have stressed that Vitaly will not receive any preferential treatment. “Regardless of nationality, all detainees are subject to the same standards and procedures under Philippine law,” a BJMP spokesperson stated. “Vitaly will face due process and remain under regular detention conditions throughout his custody.”

The case has sparked widespread public interest, with many Filipinos criticizing the YouTuber for exploiting local environments and people for online content. Legal experts suggest that the charges against him carry significant penalties and may result in prolonged detention if he is found guilty.

Vitaly currently remains in the BJMP facility in Muntinlupa while awaiting court proceedings. His case stands as a clear message that the Philippine government is serious about enforcing its laws and safeguarding public order, even when the violator is a foreign national with a large online following.
