Escudero Accused Administration For Using Government Properties To Strengthen The Candidacy Of Mar Roxas
Vice presidential bet Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero accused the administration for using the government properties to strengthen the candidacy of Liberal Party standard-bearer Mar Roxas with his partner Camarines Sur Rep. Leni Robredo.
He said, this is a proof that the Comission on Elections (Comelec) is wiling to put on the slogan of the administration, “Daang Matuwid” in the official ballots.
“This clearly shows that they are using and taking advantage of the programs and projects of the government that bear the Daang Matuwid slogan. They are unethically and illegally riding on these projects that are funded by public funds,” Escudero explained.
According to balita.net, Escudero speaks up the complaint against to the Partido Galing at Puso standard-bearer Senator Grace Poe regarding to the vote-buying which complained by senatorial bet Grecon Belgica.
“If they want to have Senator Grace investigated, then they should ask the Comelec to do the same. It’s just funny—the timing and the attempt to drag Senator Grace into this,” said Escudero.
