Senator Angara Urged President-elect Rodrigo Duterte To Give Leni Robredo An Oppurtunity To Serve
Senator Angara urged yesterday the President-elect Rodrigo Duterte to give Vice President-elect Leni Robredo an opportunity to serve in his Cabinet.
Sen. Juan Edgardo “Sonny” Angara said, although the members of the Cabinet list of Davao City mayor is commendable, Angara appealed to give Robredo a position in the government to carry out its own advocacy.
“I do hope Vice President-elect Leni Robredo is given a position because she is also very capable and she has the necessary experience,” Angara said.
In the report of balita.net, the senator immediately added that it is unnecessary to rush Duterte for giving a government position for Leni Robredo because there are more government agencies have no secretary.
Sen. Angara also stated that Duterte can establish a special Cabinet position for Vice President.
Rodrigo Duterte earlier said that he is not willing to give a position for Leni Robredo in his administration.
