Speaker of Pakistan’s National Assembly Was Tested Positive For Coronavirus Disease 2019 Or COVID-19.

The speaker of Pakistan’s National Assembly confirmed that he was tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19.

This, after Asad Qaiser, the speaker of Pakistan’s National Assembly, hosted an iftar dinner in order to celebrate Ramadan in the country, according to a report from Reuters, adding that Qaiser met Prime Minister Imran Khan and other high officials earlier in the week.

It wasn’t known if Prime Minister Imran Khan will be tested again, yet he was previously tested for COVID-19 — and the result was negative — after meeting with the head of the biggest charity organization in Pakistan who was confirmed to have infected with the coronavirus disease 2019 or COVID-19.
