STL Expansion Nationwide Proposed To Increase Employment
STL- Small Town Lottery expansions nationwide were pushing by the house leader over the entire country to increase the employment. On Tuesday House Minority Leader Danilo Suarez said that the employment status of million of the Filipinos will generate over 1.5 million employment for each individual in the country.
Suarez proposed to expand the STL nationwide to improve the employment in our entire country. STL is operating 14 out of 81 provinces and 4 out of 144 cities according to the General Manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas II during a briefing of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).
He also said that they have over 180, 000 uniformed employees hired as bet collectors or what we called “kubrador or sales representatives.” Talking about unemployed people who can’t pass a job fair, when STL deployed nationwide there are almost 1.5 million people can avail the employment.
The House Leader said that these people, who don’t have a stable job, are doing everything just to earn money. Then after three days without a job maybe they are going to be a drug pusher, hold-upper because they don’t have a source of income for their home. So in this proposal, we can provide a job for them and give an opportunity to the less fortunate.
