Guide on How Much To Prepare for LTO Student Permit Fee
STUDENT PERMIT FEE BY LTO – Here is an idea on how much you should prepare in getting a student permit in driving at the Land Transportation Office (LTO).
Aside from the LTO Driver’s License, the Land Transportation Office which is a government tasked to issue license to the drivers in the Philippines, also issue student permits.
The LTO Student Permit is specifically for individuals who know how to drive but has yet to reach the legal age which is 18 years old. Based on the official website of the government agency, the applicant should be at least 17 years of age.
The other eligibility qualifications for LTO Student Permit application includes the following:
Applicant should be…
- physically and mentally fit for motor vehicle operation
- able to read and write in Filipino, English, and other dialect applicable
For foreigner applicants, the Land Transportation Office has set 18 years old as the minimum age requirement for student permit applications.
With regards to the requirements, the following should be prepared in applying for an LTO Student Permit:
- Fully-accomplished Application form for Driver’s License (ADL)
- NSO Birth Certificate (Original and photocopy)
- Parent/Guardian’s Conset
- Valid ID of Parent/Guardian (Must bear photo)
- Medical Certificate
The LTO has set another additional requirement for foreigner applicants. The applicant should present any of the following:
- Passport and Visa (Original and Photocopy)
- NSO Birth Certificate (For foreigners born in the Philippines)
Aside from the aforementioned requirements, the applicant should also prepare an amount of money for the LTO Student Permit Fee. Applicants should prepare at least Php 320.00.
