PAG-ASA releases latest weather update on tropical depression “Samuel”
On November 19, 2018 at 4:00 AM, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAG-ASA), released a weather update on tropical depression “Samuel”.
According to the official site of PAG-ASA, the “Samuel” was expected at “665 km East Southeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur (06.9 N, 132.2 E) with maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 65 km/h”.

Reportedly, it was moving “West Northwest at 15 km/h. Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern and Central Luzon.”
At 5:00 AM today, tropical depression “Samuel” has moved west-northwestward while maintaining its strength.
