Filipino Fishermen In Mansiloc, Zambales Recovers US Sea Drone
On Friday (November 12, 2016), US sea drone was recovered by Filipino fishermen in the West Philippine Sea, according to a news report.
Filipino fishermen in the waters off Mansiloc, Zambales recovered the sea lost sea drone of the United States. Chief of the Municipal Fisheries and Aquatic Resources of Masinloc, Dario Diaz set a photo showing the yellow sea drone with a mark of the National Oceanographic Office of US.
The sea drone as labeled as an “Oceanographic instrument.” It has also an email address [email protected]. The sea drone was recovered by the fishermen when they were sailing back to Mansiloc, according to Diaz.
The unmanned underwater glider was usually used in marine research and the sea drone were still possessed by the local fishermen of Zambales, according to the report.
