A video of a law enforcer who disobeyed the traffic rules went viral in social media.
Law enforcer was spotted by the camera breaking the rules of the traffic while driving a government-owned police patrol car.
The very reason that the newly elected President Rodrigo ‘Digong’ Duterte opted for drug testing in the Philippine National Police is to assure first that the enforcers of the law who are tasked to make actions on stopping the widespread illegal drug trade in the country are not involved in such act or are not illegal drug users themselves.
That move rooted as an upholding of their responsibility to be the enforcer of the law of the country and to diminish illegalities but it seems like one video has challenged the view of a lot of netizens on the duty of the enforcers.
Top Gear Philippines has recently posted a video in Facebook from Alyanna Lindain which went viral over the social media reaching 152K views already.
In the video, a police patrol car was seen turning left though the man behind the video narrated that turning left on the said rode is prohibited. Further, the act was done while the red light conveys vehicles to stop.
A lot of netizens have shared their reactions on the said video. One netizen defended the move of the police giving it a benefit of the doubt that what if there was an emergency during that time.
Another netizen asked if it was Kamias corner Kalayaan for he said that before, turning left on the said intersection road is allowed and perhaps the police driver is not aware about it. Nevertheless, he ended it with the statement that it is not an excuse.
For most, the netizens didn’t give their final verdict as the reason behind the turning left of the police car was not heard yet.
