Golden State Warriors Wins Against The Houston Rockets
Golden State Warriors, led by Klay Thompson conquered the Houston Rockets in Game 5 with the score of 114-81 while Stephen Curry was on the sideline because of his injury.
Klay Thompson scored 27 points while Draymond Green ended with 15 points, nine points, and eight rebounds. This win led the defending champion to the second round of the Playoffs.
Stephen Curry’s ‘Splash Brother’ Klay, starred the night with seven 3-pointers.
“Urgency of the game and we did not want to go back to Houston — it’s a long flight,” said Thompson on Fox Sports.
Now, Draymond Green, who contributed 15 points nine points and eight rebounds in Game 5 said that everyone thought that the absence of Stephen Curry would affect their play but, the other thing happened.
“We’re blessed, we are really lucky,” said coach Steve Kerr.
“You lose your point guard, you lose the MVP, and to be able to throw Shaun Livingston out there, he’s a fantastic basketball player, a great teammate,” he added.
On the other hand, Stephen Curry just enjoyed the game in a brown sports coat. Just celebrating the incredible game his teammates did against the Rockets.
It is still not sure if Steph Curry would be in the next series.
The Golden State Warriors will face who will ever win between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Portland Trailblazers.
On the other side, Rockets’ James Harden scored 35 points for his team but wasn’t enough for the Warriors.
