Conor McGregor Not Retired, Ready To Fight UFC 200

The UFC Featherweight champion Conor McGregor not retired at all. He finally breaks his silence upon his shocking announcement on Twitter that he will be retiring young.

According to ESPN, McGregor made a statement on Twitter that he is not retired. With his remarks, last week Dana White and the UFC made an immediate action of pulling McGregor from the scheduled mega event – the UFC 200. He is supposed to have a rematch between Nate Diaz on July 9.

The pulling of McGregor is said due to his refusal to participate in promotions in Las Vegas for the fight.

“I am just trying to do my job and fight here. I am paid to fight. I am not yet paid to promote. I have become lost in the game of promotion and forgot about the art of fighting,” McGregor’s statement in regarding his refusal.

The UFC featherweight champion even asked to lighten his publicity and promotional schedule seeing that these obligations added to his loss against Nate Diaz last time.

It was denied.

McGregor pointed out that he is coming for his revenge. He also said that he also brought his team in order to make adjustments and to fix his errors.

“With the right adjustments and the right focus, I will finish what I started in that last fight. I will not do this if I am back on the road handing out flyers again,” he said.

Conor McGregor said that he is ready to fight at UFC 200.
