Manny Pacquiao wins over Timothy Bradley via a unanimous decision for his last and final fight of his 21-year career.
The eight-division world boxing champion scored two knockdowns against Bradley and sealing a great ending of his boxing career.
According to an article in ESPN, Pacquiao looks like his “Vintage” knowing that he is known for taking down other boxers on his prime.
“I was looking for a knockout in every round. He’s a very tough fighter and a very good counterpuncher. Bradley is a good boxer, a great fighter and a good man. It was not easy tonight but my right shoulder was fine. It gave me no problems,” Pacquiao said as quoted on the article.
Pacman already promised a good fight for this final bout. Then he just delivered it.
After the fight, all the three judges scored 116-110 all in favor of the 37-year-old Manny Pacquiao.
Pacquiao wins this last fight ending the trilogy with Bradley, finishing a record of 58 victories, 6 losses, two draw, including 38 wins via KO.
Even though people have been commenting the Filipino boxing hero should not end his career after the Pacquiao-Bradley 3, Pacquiao insisted that this will be his last fight and he will be concentrating on his political career in the Philippines. Manny is aspiring to be a senator in the Philippines.
“Maybe I enjoy being a retired man, serving the people, helping the people,” he added, before giving a farewell message to his fans. Thank you to all the fans in boxing, especially the Filipino people. I’ve really appreciated all your help and support,” Pacquiao said as quoted in a report on GMA News Online.
