Broadway Stars Honors Musical Creators.
Broadway Stars. Gathering at the New York Pops’ 33rd Birthday Gala are Broadway’s biggest stars including Lea Salonga to perform at Carnegie Hall, May 3, to honor the creators of popular musicals such as Les Miserables and Miss Saigon, Alain Boublil and Claude-Michael Schonberg.
In the video courtesy of TheaterMania, Broadway Star and Tony winner Salongga performed alongside with Broadway veterans like Stephanie Block, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Montego Glover, Jeremy Jordan, Norm Lewis, Robert Marien, Patti LuPone, the rising Eva Noblezada, Laura Osnes, John Owen-Jones, Hugh Panaro, Kyle Scatliffe, Marie Zamora, and Judith Clurman’s Esstial Voices USA.
In the first run, Salonga and Noblezada can be seen in a duet to “Movie in My Mind” from Miss Saigon.

Salonga also graces the audience with her signature rendition of “On My Own” from Les Miserables. (Watch)
The Broadway star once played the character Eponine that gave her the “On My Own” solo.
In the end, the Broadway royalties shared the stage performing “Do you Hear the People Sing” from the same musical with a stunning ensemble.
Salonga will be back soon in the country for her commitment in the Voice Kids Ph Season 3 as one of the coaches joining Bamboo and Mega Star Sharon Cuneta this time. Earlier, she also became part of the season’s finale of an American Comedy-Musical TV show.
