Grade 9 Science Student-Invented an Anti-Theft Security Device Called “Auto Call Door Knob”
Anti-Theft Auto Call door knob was invented by a Filipino grade 9 science student who won the National Science Fair Competition.
On Wednesday (October 05, 2016), it is reported that a Filipino Grade 9 science student in Baguio City high school invented a certain anti-theft device to prevent the robbery from the homes of the individuals. The 15 years old inventor named Jericho Villarico invented the device called Auto-Call Door Knob.
Using the device it can be automatically detected if someone attempts to enter the house through a phone call. If the door knob has been rotated, the micro-controller of the system can detect the input. The release serves as the fingers that dial the phone numbers once the attempted robbery happened.
Jericho came up with this idea because they were once a victim of a robbery. So he invented a door knob that can notify the owner of the house anywhere he/she is. His invention won in the National Science Fair Competition of a private company.
