The Google Self-Driving Car Was Designed By A Woman
Google self-driving car was designed by a woman name YooJung Ahn, who aims to create a product that can maximize visibility and safety during travel.
In 2012, YooJung Ahn joined the Google self-driving car project that can let a person ride alone without driving. She was given a small team she led in 2013 for the development of this moonshot project that is now within reach.
YooJung was a product designer and not a car designer, she never designed a product that a person could sit inside. So his project brought a lot of idea for her and her teammates to develop a self-driving car, with a touch button that could shuttle a person from one place to another.
This project was loaded with artificial intelligence and sensors that allows the car to operate a thousand miles even in a complex urban environments without human manipulation. The Google self-driving car project beat the 4, 98 designs submitted to win the Red Dot Design Award.
