Facebook Birthday Recap Video
Facebook recently released a new feature that will make celebrating birthdays happier than before – the new Facebook Birthday Recap Video.
In a press release by Facebook, users can see a video one day after one’s birthday. The said feature compiles some of the top photos and wall posts that have been present during a user’s birthday. After this, it will appear in a News Feed story wishing that person a “Happy birthday” from Facebook – a somehow customized greeting from the social media giant.
Another great thing is that the celebrant can personalize and even edit the video before sharing it publicly or privately. The user can choose among the messages and photos that he wanted to feature in the video.
Facebook said that the said feature will have last for 45 seconds wherein a birthday cake will be lighten up then will reveal the top birthday posts from the user’s friends.
“The 45-second video features a magical birthday cake that lights up and comes to life, opening to reveal the top birthday posts and photos from your friends,” Facebook said the press release.
In the video sample of the Facebook Birthday Recap Video, it shows a lighted birthday cake followed by the opening of its top layer where balloons can be seen having different colors. There, one can see a greeting: “Hey (name of the birthday celebrant), the party’s not over.”
After that, birthday greetings from the post of the celebrant’s Facebook friends can be seen. At the last part, there will be a “Happy Birthday from all of us on Facebook” greeting.
