Microsoft unveiled its new Surface product line-up during the Microsoft Event in New York City, USA last Wednesday, October 2.
The Surface Line-up
During the Microsoft event, Microsoft presented these products: the Surface Laptop 3, the Surface Pro 7, the Surface Earbuds, the Surface Pro X, the Surface Neo, and the Surface Duo.
Surface Laptop 3
This device comes with a 13-inch and 15-inch sizes. Microsoft claimed that this laptop has “two times faster than the previous version of the Surface Laptop, and three times faster than the MacBook Air” because of its 10th-generation Intel Ice Lake quad-core processor. It also has a 20% larger trackpad and AMD Ryzen Surface Edition graphics processor.
Surface Laptop 3 started its pre-order for the price of $999 for the 13-inch laptop and $1,199 for the 15-inch laptop. This device will be available on the 22nd of October this year.
Surface Pro 7
This device has a USB-C port and new Studio microphones that can capture the user’s voice. The Surface Pro 7 also allow the user to use speech to text in Windows easily.
This 2-in-1 device started its pre-order for the price of $749.
Surface Earbuds
Microsoft also made a wireless earbuds that is voice-enabled and has noise cancellation filter. It supports over 60 languages and even translates automatically as the user speak.
This earbuds will be available on the Holiday season for the price of $249.
Surface Pro X
This device weighs 1.68 pounds and has three times more performance per watt as compared to the Surface Pro 6. It also has Surface Slim Pen that is hiding within the Type Cover.
The Surface Pro X will be available on November for the price of $999, which is much expensive than the Surface Pro 7.
Surface Neo
Microsoft claimed that this device aimed “to remove the conflict between the laptop and the tablet.” This device is much similar as the Samsung’s Galaxy Fold. Surface Neo will run in Windows 10X that is built for dual screens.
Surface Duo
This device is a smartphone version of Surface Neo, where it has a camera on one of its screens. Both Surface Duo and Surface Neo will be availabe in 2020.
