Pokémon GO Philippines – The long wait is over as Pokémon GO is now launched in the Philippines as it is now officially launched and available for download in the Philippines.
The official app is now available in the Android’s Play Store and Apple iPhone/iPad App store.
Not only in the Philippines, the app has been officially rolled out today in Cambodia, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Laos, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Palau, Solomon Islands, and the Federated States of Micronesia.
Pokémon GO app, from the original Nintendo video game, was developed by Niantic Labs wherein it integrated the augmented-reality wherein Pokemon would seem to appear in the real world. It uses the smartphone’s GPS, camera, maps, and sensors giving a real-life gaming experience.

This is important to consider to avoid problems after downloading the game.

But, the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has given reminders to people will be walking in the streets to ‘catch ’em all’:
- Do not play Pokemon Go while crossing [the street]. Focus on the road and don’t forget to look left and right.
- If the urge of playing [the game] can’t be bared, use the designated pedestrian footbridges but make sure to be alert on the surroundings while walking.
