Pokemon Go – The famous game and cartoon, Pokemon was recently been released on Android and iPhone’s iOS.
Nintendo, the developer of Gameboy where Pokemon was played before, has become the favorite role-playing game among the children.
Now, one can access it on your smartphones.
In an article published by The Verge, it said that Pokemon Go by Nintendo was developed by Niantic Labs. The augmented reality mobile game was based on the cartoon and the classic video game.
“..The game uses your smartphone’s camera and sensors, as well as location-based algorithms, to place pokémon in the real world,” The Verge explains.
“That way, as you travel around to landmarks and notable locations in your city, you can catch the creatures and then train and battle them at gyms,” it added.
While it’s free to download, Pokemon Go might have small add-ons costing s$0.99 – $99.99.
As of now, the mobile game was available in New Zealand and Australia and countries like the USA and Japan are advised to wait for the official release.
Even Filipino fans have been waiting for the release of the game but, others have already installed the game on their devices.
“When will we have Pokemon Go here in the Philippines?, said one on Twitter.
A popular techie site in the Philippines called Yugatech has posted an easy way to install the mobile game even before its official release.
There is still no specific release date of the much-awaited augmented reality mobile game.
For now, wait and observe. Gotta catch ’em all!
