Duterte Featured As Gilas Member In NBA2K Simulation
The presumptive president Rodrigo Duterte featured in the popular basketball video game NBA2K modified by Filipino gamers, now becomes viral online.
Duterte was just so popular among ordinary Filipinos because of his toughness and his sometimes “foul-speaking”. The incoming president has been the topic of most people in social media and even in real life.
Now, his popularity is still present that his face has been used in a video game basketball simulation NBA2K and it seemed that he’s one of the Gilas Pilipinas members.
In the video, it shows a Rodrigo Duterte making a surprise appearance in the popular NBA2K game wearing a Gilas Pilipinas jersey No. 30.
It showed that some elite basketball skills by the incoming president being the national teams as they “punished” the Chinese National Team in red.
Duterte played as the point guard as he led the team against the giants. He has been showcasing incredible dribbling skills like doing crossover moves and doing the Philippine Dribble-Drive system famous in the country.
Earlier, the Facebook page PBA and NBA2k best Cyberfaces created a cyberface for other gamers to create a Rodrigo Duterte players in NBA 2k games.

Then, the Facebook page PBA Memes used the cyberface, created and recorded a video of the Duterte character.

The video now went viral having more than 450,000 views and has 13,000 shares as of writing.
Meanwhile, the REAL Gilas Pilipinas pool is preparing for the Olympic qualifiers that will be held in the Philippines this July. Of course, incoming president Duterte won’t be playing with them.
