Hailee Steinfeld Visited Philippines

Hailee Steinfeld, the multi-awarded Hollywood actress and singer, was very passionate to have visited the Philippines, April 8.

Being greatly empowered by her Filipino roots, she shared that she always wanted to visit the country.

In an interview on “Tonight with Boy Abunda”, she shared how she felt incredible to be in the Philippines and that coming to the Philippines has been a topic of conversation in her family for years.

Her music finally bringing her in the country is really an incredible thing for her.

Further, she revealed in the interview that Ricardo Domasin, her grandfather from her mother’s side, is from Bohol and is certainly half-Filipino by blood.

Starting April 8 at the Eastwood Mall in Quezon City, the 19-year-old star came to hold a series of mall shows.

On April 9, her talent will be personally witnessed by those who would watch her performance at the Uptown Mall, Fort Bonifacio and Venice Grand Canal, McKinley Hill the day after it.

Steinfeld used to call her grandfather, Ricardo Domasin, as “Papa”.

“My Papa, I think he really represented Filipinos with his pride and his passion,” she shared when asked about how he felt as she stepped in and embrace the culture of her grandfather.

The young star admitted the pressure she felt of becoming a role model at a very young age after hitting the mark – being nominated for an Oscar for her excellent performance in “True Grit”.

Steinfeld finds the idea of being a role model just by doing something that she really loves and something that makes her feel good a strange concept.

She believes her fans to be very loyal to her and goes very much the same with herself. she feels greatly loved and supported diminishing the sense of pressure that she might feel.
