Baby Lillie Disson was branded as a miracle baby as she began to breathe on her own after the removal of life support.
Sky and Peter Kwalinska went home with their bundle of joy in Peterborough. Sky is a trainee hairdresser while Peter is a bin man. Baby Lillie is their second child. Unexpectedly, the next thing that happened almost took the baby from them.
Sky said that she just woke up with Baby Lillie not breathing anymore and she turned blue so she thought that her little one is dying.
Sky called an ambulance through phone while her husband is executing the CPR to their baby. Despite the fact that Peter knows how to do it, she admitted that she kept on screaming and saying ‘no’.
Sky continued that the paramedics came within five minutes but Peter counted that their Baby Lillie was already out of breath for twenty-four minutes already.
Baby Lillie was diagnosed to have brain damage due to loss of oxygen by the doctors so she was put into life support.
Sky said that the doctors talked to her and Peter and told them about the case and future that awaits their baby. They were advised to just turn off the life support to finally free their baby from pain.
Sky took the hands and feet prints of their Baby Lillie as she says goodbye to their little one. According to her, she couldn’t take to hold her baby. She wasn’t that strong enough to do it.
Peter said that his fatherly instinct was really there when they were getting the tubes. It was like something is telling him to stop them.
The moment the tubes was taken, they noticed that Baby Lillie was breathing on her own. Everyone was amazed even the doctors. It was a miracle granted for the couple.
