Lloyd Faces Serious Mental Condition

Former child star in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, Jake Lloyd, is now in a psychiatric center after being diagnosed with schizophrenia, a mental disorder.

The player of the role of Anakin Walker in Star Wars had been staying in custody for ten months already.

Last year, he was caught by police in a high-speed chase in Charleston, South Carolina.

Lloyd’s mother confirmed that the young man has been transferred to the hospital due to his condition.

According to Lisa, the mom of the 27-year-old man, her son needs help more than punishment.

Further, improvements can already be seen in Jake’s personality as to her. There is no determined schedule as to when her son would be released.

Treating Jake and helping him get his health back again is the central goal as to the young man’s mom.

In 2015, police run after Lloyd for reaching over 100mph speed. He crashed his car into the woods and was arrested right then.

Reckless driving, failure to stop, resisting arrest, and driving without a license are the grounds for his arrest.

He claimed that his involvement in the first ‘Star Wars” prequel movie has ruined his life. He was ten years old when he first starred.

According to him in an interview in 2012, other children are mean to him – they make sound of the light saber upon seeing him. He never likes it.
