Netizen Seeks Help Hoping the Viral Lady Giving Free Hug Was Her Missing Aunt
A netizen on Facebook seeks help to find her missing aunt after a photo of a lady giving free hug to a reporter goes viral.
Patricia Macaldo, a netizen, used social media to seek assistance from the online community in finding her aunt Nena Liboon Pangilinan, who went missing in 2008. The appeal occurred after a social media post of an ABS-CBN reporter hugging a homeless man went viral.
She wrote, “Tita sana ikaw na yan,” believing the viral street dweller was his aunt. According to her, she has a strong suspicion that her aunt Nena is the woman who hugged the reporter recently.
“Tita nena sana ikaw na yan sana makita ka na namin sobrang tagal ka namin hinihintay na umuwi at hinanap ka din ng mga kapatid mo si lola bago pumanaw alam kong gustong gusto ka niya makita,” Macaldo said in his Facebook post on Friday.
The netizen also included images of her Aunt Nena while she was still in their care. When she visits Manila, she says she looks at everyone on the street in the hopes of seeing her aunt. Anyone who sees her should notify Macaldo through her Facebook page.
“Kung sino man po may alam or nakakita sa kanya please po pm n’yo po kami sobrang miss na namin ang tita namin halos mahigit isang dekada na siyang nawawala please po sana makita na namin siya ramdam ko ikaw talaga yan,” Macaldo appeal.
