OFW Slams Custom of Cebu Pacific After Some Items in Luggage Went Missing
An Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) returning home air dismayed at the custom of Cebu Pacific Airlines after her luggage was ransacked.
When an OFW returned home to the Philippines from Hong Kong, she discovered that her chocolates had vanished from her suitcase. When she brought them up at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport’s carousel, she said the luggage was already shattered (NAIA).
In the Facebook post of Jonna Florlegarda Valdenebro Vigo, she said she observed that the side of her luggage’s zipper was damaged and some of the contents had been spit out, she instantly felt there was an issue with it. The Toblerone packages she was intended to give to her family were missing when Vigo opened the suitcase.
Before her suitcase flew away, Vigo was able to photograph the contents. According to the photos she uploaded, there are even a couple chocolate packets inside.
“SHOUT OUT DYAN SA CUSTOM NG CEBU PACIFIC MANILA… ANG GAGALING N’YO… ANO ‘YAN NAGHIHIRAP NA BA KAYO… OR MY PINAGMANAHAN KAYO… HUSTISYA SA MGA NAWALA…” she captioned in his Facebook post.
He continued in the comments area of his Facebook post. She stated that the things were still present in her suitcase when she checked it in Manila. However, she was unable to claim her luggage when she checked out in Roxas and was assured that it would be delivered the following day.
“‘Yong luggage ko pa check in ko sa Manila ok naman…. nag-add pa nga ako pag check out ko sa Roxas kukunin ko na luggage hindi ko makuha hindi ko ma-claim madaming luggage nawalan tapos sabi sa Manila daw kaya ideliver bukas… umalis na kami sa airport after 10 minutes tumawag sa akin, naroon daw luggage ko nak-wrap na, sabi ko nakita ko na ‘yan hindi ko kinuha kasi hindi akin… dumating Manilla to Roxas airport naka-wrap na… naka-wrap na kasi binutas na nila…”
