Christina Grimmie has a message to Filipino fans.
Throwback video of the late Christina Grimmie sending a message to her Filipino fans goes viral. The clip was filmed during an interview with ABS-CBN News’s Ginger Conejero when she visited the Philippines in 2014.
“Just do what you want to do. Be yourself.” These were the words of the American singer when asked for her advice to her Filipino supporters.
During the interview, Christina Grimmie narrated how she never let anything hinder her dreams of becoming one of the most sough-after singers. According to her, you just need to do what you love.
“I’ve been through it. A lot of really professional people, names that you know, have just been confused at one point and they’ve been going through things like ‘What should I do next in music?’ I’ve certainly been there. It’s kind of one of those things where you just have to keep doing what you love to do and just make sure that you get it done,” she said.
The 22-year-old singer hoped that her story would inspire a lot of people. Grimmie started her career by uploading videos on her YouTube channel until she auditioned of “The Voice USA” which paved way for her dreams.
Although she finished third pace place at the singing competition, several record labels offered to work with her.
Fans of Grimmie are grieving after she lost her life in a very unfortunate incident while she was signing autographs after the concert at Orlando. The suspect also took his life at the scene.
Grimmie was immediately rushed to hospital in critical condition, but lost her life after a few hours.
